Mental Health & AODA Coordinator/Social Work Supervisor

Washburn County is seeking applicants for the Mental Health & AODA Coordinator/Social Work Supervisor. This supervisory position manages the continuum of mental health and AODA services, including evaluating, developing and providing direction to direct service staff; developing and monitoring contracts for services; managing the budget and providing leadership within the Department and community.  Primary programs include Comprehensive Community Services (CCS), Mental Health Emergency Service (Crisis), Adult Protective Services (APS), Coordinated Service Team (CST) and Community Support Program (CSP). The work must be performed according to all applicable codes, statutes, rules and regulations and reports primarily to the Health & Human Services Department Director.

Master’s Degree in Social Work or related therapeutic field preferred with 5 years of progressive responsibility in the mental health and/or AODA field; 2 years of personnel supervision experience and/or program administration experience preferred. A combination of the above will be considered. Wisconsin Social Work Certification or eligibility to obtain within 2 years is required if no Master’s degree. Must possess a valid Wisconsin Driver’s license. Starting Salary begins at $38.98 per hour and is commensurate with experience. Excellent benefit package included.
