Washburn County Inmate Visitation Rules

Procedure:

•  Sign in at the front desk
•  Provide valid picture identification
•  Limit visit to 30 minutes
•  Sign out when finished

Conduct:

•  Cell phones and other electronic devices are prohibited
•  Profanity is prohibited
•  Children must be supervised

Information:

•  Visitation is Monday - Friday, 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
•  Visitation is closed on legal holidays
•  Visitors must be on inmate’s approved visitor list
•  Visitor lists contain up to 10 visitors - 3 non-family and 7 immediate family (parent, sibling, or child)
•  Visitation lists may be updated by inmates at the first of each month
•  Visitors must be at least 18 (exceptions: child or sibling of inmate or court order)
•  Approved minor visitors must be supervised by approved adult visitors
•  Visitation is on a first-come-first-serve basis
•  Visits are monitored and recorded
•  Inmates may be allowed up to 2 (two) visits per day
