Child Support Services
Services of the child support agency can be obtained one of two ways. Should a custodial parent apply and receive some form of public assistance, such as Medical Assistance, Food Stamps, etc., the case will be automatically referred from the Department of Social Services. If no public assistance is involved, a custodial parent can contact the agency and request an application for services. The application fee is $25.00, which is paid only once. When the application and fee are received, a case will be opened in the agency. Our agency can provide the following services for you:
- Establishment of Paternity (determining the legal father)
- Locating absent parents
- Establishing/enforcing/reviewing child support orders
- Tax interception
- Income withholding
