         The Washburn County Health Department will offer free Breastfeeding Classes on the second Thursday of each month at 1:30pm

Breastfeeding basics, how-to's, and postpartum support will be covered by two certified breastfeeding consultants, so whether you're newly pregnant and thinking about breastfeeding, or 6 months postpartum and balancing work and breastfeeding, this is the class for you.  Dads are welcome, too!

The classes will be held at the Lakeland Family Resource Center on 314 Elm Street in Spooner.  Call the Washburn County Health Department at 635-4400 to register or for additional information .  Registration is suggested so that enough educational materials can be provided but walk-ins are welcome.
