Technical and Financial Services

ServeyorThe Washburn County Land & Water Conservation Department provides technical and financial services through a variety of different programs and methods. Some of these include but are not limited to:

  • Project Design, Layout, and Inspection - including shoreline restoration and upland erosion control practices, and various Ag-related Best Management Practices
  • Cost-Share funding for some Best Management Practices
  • Equipment Rental and Sales
  • County Tree Sale Program
  • Information and Education to schools, civic groups, and lake organizations
  • Assisting landowners in complying with various county ordinances including the recently revised County Shoreland Zoning Ordinance and the Animal Waste Management Ordinance, through the use of various practices.
  • State and Federal Grant procurement and implementation
