Jail Nursing Services
Services Provided:
Washburn County Health Department provides jail nursing services to inmates at the Washburn County Jail.
Services include:
- Review of all inmate health screenings
- Medication management; verify meds, reorder and set up
- Tuberculosis and sexually transmitted infection screening
- "Sick Call" for inmates requesting health, dental, or medical health care and referrals to local health care providers as needed
- Immunizations and TB testing for inmates
- Chronic disease case management
- Patient education
