Transportation Program
Services provided to Washburn County Residents
Our Non-Emergency Transportation Program provides services to elderly, disabled and cancer patients who are unable to drive any longer, or without family or friends to assist in driving them to medical appointments. This service is funded by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation through an 85.21 grant, County dollars and participant donations.
To schedule a ride, please call Lisa Wehmhoefer, Transportation Coordinator at the Aging Office 715-635-4460 to inform her of the appointment date, time and location. Transportation rides need to be made 24 hours prior to appointment time for scheduling purposes.
